Dear Business Community: This fall the excitement of musical competition again returns to Clearview as the Pioneers will once more host a Tournament of Bands competition. Several of the region's top high school bands will be participating. The competition is scheduled for Saturday evening, October 6, 2007 at Clearview High School. In conjunction with this highly attended event, we will be publishing a program book. We ask that you, as a member of the business community, show your support for the students in the marching band by purchasing advertising space. This is by far our largest fundraiser of the year and it helps to offset the cost of the marching band program beyond what the school board is able to budget. Our instrumental music program continues to enjoy a renaissance under the leadership of Tom Maioriello. The ability of our parents' group to continue to supplement this activity is vital to its continued success. Please keep in mind that participation in the band help create valuable lifelong friendships, builds self-esteem and teaches the importance of discipline, dedication and responsibility.
